Donating gently used clothing, textiles and household items today will make a difference in someone’s life tomorrow!
Give hope to those in need by looking in your closets, homes, and hearts.
We always appreciate donations. Our thoughtful volunteers carefully handle your donated treasures with respect. However, we ask that you only donate items suitable for re-sale, clean and not broken. Please drop off donations during store hours so that we ensure that the items are not damaged or pilfered if left outside.
Clothing:
- Gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and shoes
- Clothing accessories: hats, gloves, scarves, ties
- Personal accessories: jewelry, wallets, purses, bags
- Bed and bath towels, sheets, blankets, pillions, curtains, tablecloths
Media:
- Books and magazines
Housewares:
- Toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals
- Craft items, candles, seasonal decorations, pictures/frames, baskets
- Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, mugs, glassware, kitchen appliances (i.e coffee pots, blender)
- Bicycles, garden tools,
- Lamps
- Antiques and collectables
Furniture:
- Sofas, couches, loveseats, recliners, footstools, chairs
- Tables: dining, kitchen, coffee, end, computer, nightstands, patio
- Storage dressers, armoires, bookcases, cabinets, entertainment centers

Business/Corporate Donations
We are always thankful for business/corporate donations that greatly support our work in communities all across Canada.
Donations are accepted:
Monday – Saturday 12:00am – 5:00pm at our location. Please note that due to strict COVID protocols, daily donations will only be accepted until the bins are full.

Because we cannot repair items and have to pay for disposal, we are not able to accept:
- Mattresses
- Large appliances
- Old computers
- Non-functioning items
**Masks are mandatory at the JL VANCOUVER Thrift Store location.
Pick-up & Delivery ( must pay for some items)
We can help deliver furniture items purchased at the JL VANCOUVER Thrift Stores. Delivery fees apply. Please call (604) 558-22119 or email jlvancouverthriftstore@gmail.com for details. Curbside service only.
If you have large articles about donating and need them to be picked up, please call (778) 919-3179 or email jlvancouverthriftstore@gmail.com. Pick-ups must be approved by the Store Manager and fees will apply. Curbside service only. The JL VANCOUVER Delivery Driver has the right to refuse a donation if the item is dirty, damaged, too large, etc.
